The Jasperware was acquired separately at auction and was bezel-set into these new tuxedo studs, that were custom designed for these objects.
The studs have a sliding post that locks into place.
The motif on the medallions is Hope and Anchor. This neoclassical symbol signifies stability and security during life's storms.
The color of each medallion is "Sage Green" (or "Jasper Green") in matte finish with the neoclassical symbol shown in white. Sage green with a white neoclassical freeze is a common color combination for Wedgwood.
These tuxedo studs are part of a broader series of jewelry that is being custom made by Massoyan Jewelers, using Wedgwood Jasperware.
