Dolphin Vintage Wedgwood Tuxedo Stud Buttons in New 14K Yellow and White Gold Settings, Black Basalt and White
14k yellow and white gold dolphin tuxedo studs with four 20th Century Wedgwood Jasperware round medallions, with the “Wedgwood” stamp behind each. The bezel is made of 14k white gold and the toggle-bar back mechanism is made of 14k yellow gold.
The Jasperware was bezel-set into these new tuxedo stud settings, that were custom designed for these medallions.
The studs have a sliding post that locks into place.
The motif on the medallions are dolphins. The color of each medallion is black basalt jasper – a matte black -- with a white relief of the dolphins. This color combination is a signature of Wedgwood ceramics since the 18th century.
