I only replaced half of this 100-year-old ring

A customer flew halfway across the country with an art deco platinum ring that looked like it had been stomped on. Missing diamonds, missing prongs, cracked across the top, and warped on every axis. I offered to fully remake it, but since it’s a family heirloom, he wanted the original or nothing at all. I tried my best to straighten out all the damaged sections, but I hit a wall when it came to the top. So we compromised and he let me rebuild just the center section. I spent three days restoring this ring, using almost every tool and technique in my repertoire.
