Cherub Drop Earrings in 14K Yellow Gold with Two Round Vintage Wedgewood Jasperware in White and Basalt Black

14k yellow gold drop earrings with two 20th Century Wedgwood Jasperware round medallions, with the “Wedgwood” stamp behind each.

The Jasperware was acquired separately at auction and was bezel-set into these new earrings, that were custom designed for these objects.

The earrings have French back clips and a cluster of diamonds on the bottom, 6 round-shaped weighing 0.34 carats total.

The motifs on the medallions are cherubs, engaged in activities suggesting love, artistry and learning.

The color of each cherub is a white relief and Wedgwood classic "basalt" black matte finish in the background; these are characteristic of Wedgwood’s iconic jasperware technique.

The earrings are part of a broader series of jewelry that is being custom made by Massoyan Jewelers, using Wedgwood Jasperware.
