This vintage ring had been repaired so many times that fixing it again just didn’t make sense. The amethyst was chipped, the prongs were worn out, and the structure needed a fresh start. So I rebuilt the ring with a new head and shank while keeping the original filigree shoulders intact. Then I set a Kunzite in the center— Kristen‘s favorite gemstone. Where do you cut into a ring that’s covered in diamonds?
I added a diamond… can you find it?
