Did you know that sometimes a diamond eternity band can damage another ring if they’re worn together? These two were worn next to each other for a number of years and over time the girdles of the eternity band’s diamonds carved a chunk out of one of the prongs on the engagement ring. Thankfully the prong was made of platinum and it was a smooth repair to use my laser welder to fill in the notch. Instead of soldering the two rings together this customer opted to add a third ring to sit in the middle, sandwiched between the eternity and engagement rings. A simple, elegant solution.
