14k white gold cupid heart pendant necklace with one vintage Wedgwood Jasperware, with the “Wedgwood Made in England” stamp on the back.
The Jasperware is bezel-set into the pendant, which was custom designed for the object. The pendant's bezel setting, as well as the necklace with lobster lock, are new. The pendant has a cluster of diamonds at the top, 3 round-shaped brilliant-cut weighing 0.10 carats total.
The motif on the Wedgwood is a winged cherub "Cupid with Bow", one of Wedgwood's most widely used neoclassical designs for pendants and lockets. The color of the Cupid freeze is white, with the Wedgwood classic "rose" pink matte finish in the background; these are characteristic of Wedgwood’s iconic jasperware technique. The matte pink color is often considered the most romantic of Wedgwood's jasperware colors.
