Sizing a ring covered in gemstones (without ruining it)

Christina found this multicolor cluster ring at an auction house— perfect in every way except the size. Because the top is hollow and packed with gemstones, stretching it wasn’t an option. So I cut the shank open, added a new piece e of gold, and resized it while keeping every stone safe and every seam invisible. Watch til the final shot when I show the ring in sunlight!
