Overhauling and merging two sentimental platinum rings

Sometimes I’m handed a project that involves so many pieces that it almost feels like I’m making my own jigsaw puzzle just to solve it.

This one was one of my most complex jobs ever and it’s because I was tasked to merge two rings together as one. But these two rings were never made to be connected. Thankfully they’re both platinum with diamonds and platinum is very friendly to work with and manipulate especially with a laser welder.
