Reviving a riddled ring in need

You might not think of your ring as something that needs to be cleaned. Maybe you wear it while you wash your hands or keep in on in the shower and assume it gets cleaned every day from the soap and water. But when there’s gemstones in rings it creates crevices for dirt, oils, and grime to collect and build up. In this video I meticulously clean up and restore the result of many years of an uncleaned ring. It’s quite easy to clean your jewelry. Just some soap and water and light scrubbing from a toothbrush and your metal and gemstones will stay sparkling.

Sizing Up a Vintage Watch

This tiny little time keeper is nearly 75 years old and represents many eras of forgotten fashion. Ring watches date back as far as the mid 18th century. However they didn’t become popular with the masses until the early 1900s. The trend faded a little bit, but it came back with the late 60s and they had another resurgence in the early 2000s. Watch as I carefully remove the movement and size this one up.
